Women of all ages can experience a relaxing day of all their favorite things: fashion, shopping, and well-deserved pampering at a Day for Women held at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center. Browse vendor booths from area businesses as well as attend a luncheon with featured speaker and catered meal for a limited number of guests. Other seminars and demonstrations are held throughout the day providing valuable information for women. A new addition to Day for Women 2009 was a Prom and Cocktail Attire fashion show featuring the latest trends from local merchants.

Enjoy great live cooking demos with top culinary specialists, fabulous recipes and simple entertaining ideas, local vendors, food samples, prize giveaways, and a free goodie bag for each person that attends at Taste of Home Cooking School. This entertaining event is held at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center annually in the spring.

A celebration for Central Texas! Enjoy great live music from local bands. Join us for dancing, entertainment, and fun. Prizes are awarded to the oldest woman, oldest man, and couple married the longest in attendance. Additional door prizes are awarded. All ages welcome!

Brides-to-be are able to view samples and services provided by local wedding vendors at the Bridal Showcase all in one convenient location. This annual event held in late July consists of vendor booths, samples, and a fashion show featuring wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride gowns.
