| Local Photographer and APAC join together to generate money for pet adoption services with Puppy Love event Friday and Saturday, Feb 19-20, 2010.
Suzy Wiest, owner of Portraits by Suzy (www.SuzysPortraits.com) in Salado, and APAC (www.MyHappyTails.org), are joining forces to raise money for pets in need. During this event, Portraits by Suzy is offering $50 mini-sessions for your pet dog or cat. The entire session fee will be donated to APAC to benefit pets needing adoption as well as other services they provide to the area.
Suzy works with each pet and their owner to create photographic fine art options to decorate clients’ homes. From classical art portraits to whimsical, bright colored backgrounds, Suzy and her staff are preparing to pamper pets during the upcoming event. “We have goodie bags for the pets and puppy chow for the adults. We are looking forward to a day of fun and fur,” said Suzy. “Even though the event is called Puppy Love, I hope people bring in cats too.”
Pets can be photographed by themselves or with their owners. Clients will be invited to return to the studio to see the poses and make their selections. Prints may be purchased a la carte or you may wish to choose a money-saving print package. Ask your local veterinarian, kennel or any APAC member for a special $50 discount card available for print purchases $150 and up.
Puppy Love event is happening Friday and Saturday, February 19-20 at the Portraits by Suzy Studio, located at 227 N. Main in Salado. All sessions are by appointment. Only a limited number of sessions are available. Please call Suzy at 541-2347.
