WEDDING GUIDELINES
Weddings will be printed in the Sunday edition immediately following the wedding if information is turned in to the Temple Daily Telegram’s Lifestyle Department no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday before the wedding.
Weddings will not be printed if the information is received more than one month after the ceremony.
Pictures :
Wedding pictures are of the bride only.
One free photograph will be used in the Temple Daily Telegram, either an engagement or a bridal photo. Couples wishing to have both an engagement photo and a wedding photo printed will pay regular advertising rates for the wedding photo. The appropriate photos will appear with the engagement and wedding notices in the regular editorial space of the news page.
The Telegram will print one free photo, if the bride or bridegroom or at least one set of parents are residents or former residents of the newspaper’s circulation area (residents of the counties of Bell, Milam, Lampasas, Coryell, Falls, and portions of Williamson or McLennan).
If a second photo is run, arrangements for payments will be made with the business office at the time the wedding photo is brought to the Telegram for publication. All pictures must be black-and-white glossy prints or professional color prints. Polaroid, instant or soft focus prints do not reproduce well in the newspaper, so they cannot be used. Because of space limitations, full-length pictures will not be used.
Please send photos with a resolution of at least 200 dpi and at least 5 inches wide, though wider is better. Color or black and white is acceptable if they are clear, crisp photos.
Pictures are saved for 30 days after publication. The Telegram WILL NOT accept responsibility for mailing photographs back. If you wish to have your picture returned, please pick it up at the Temple Daily Telegram within 30 days after publication. Although those handling the pictures make every effort to ensure photos are not damaged, the Telegram accepts no responsibility for damaged or misplaced photographs.
Information:
Forms must be printed neatly or typewritten, signed and have a telephone number where someone may be reached during business hours.
The Temple Daily Telegram is not responsible for authenticity of wedding forms received through the mail, nor does it accept responsibility for wedding information not on a wedding form. The Telegram prints only such information as is on the wedding form.
