Getting ‘Hands On’ with the Contemporaries

Beverly Kermode explains a rhythm-based game with sticks during a Hands On program preview Tuesday at the Azalee Marshall Cultural Activities Center in Temple. The Hands On program is presented by the Contemporaries of the CAC, and will run from Sept. 10 through Oct. 17. Every third grade student in Bell County will travel with their school to the CAC Tuesdays and Thursdays to learn about music, art, dance, theater and daily life in South African culture.
