Emily Elizabeth Waits of Belton became the bride of Joshua Ryan DeLord of Raleigh, N.C., and formerly of Moody on June 8 at Temple Bible Church.
The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Cristina Waits of Belton.
The bridegroom is the son of Paul and Lynne DeLord of Moody.
The Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiated.
Musicians include pianist Pam DeSalvo of Temple and a children’s choir consisting of the bride’s cousins from Blackstone, Ill., and Wilmington, N.C.
Scripture reader was Sarah Jennings of Dallas.
Given in marriage by her parents the bride wore a floral lace and tulle ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and sparkling sequin tulle underlay.
Maid of honor was Allison Waits of Belton. Bridesmaids were Texanna Martin of Temple, Molly Montgomery Quicksall of Killeen and Meghan Haffey of Houston.
Best man was Dustin James of Chicago. Groomsmen were Caleb DeLord of Moody, Drew Ivey of Burleson and Chris Venard of Temple.
Seating guests were Levi Swang of Tomball and Jonathan Travis of Temple.
The reception followed at Cathedral Oaks Event Center.
After a wedding trip to Barbados, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
The bride is a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in biology. She was a biology teacher at Killeen High School.
The bridegroom is attending North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has a degree in biology from Dallas Baptist University. He works for North Carolina State Veterinary Hospital.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegrooms’ parents at Temple Bible Church.
