Amber Lynn Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla., became the bride of Phelipe Zapata of Moody in a double-ring ceremony on July 6 at R&J River Ranch.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Lisa Small of Jacksonville.
The bridegroom is the son of Epifanio R Zapata and James M. and Rebecca V. Thrift, all of Moody.
Lorenzo Zapata officiated.
Music was provided by Johnny Rosas, Joe Grimaldo and Leo Montez.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was an A-line cut white designer gown with a long train and beading throughout with a corset in back. Cathedral veil and second veil has beading to match dress and comes to waist length with a Tiara with sapphire and diamond jewels.
Matron of honor was Gisela Zapata of Moody. Bridesmaids are Tina Zapata of Harker Heights and Kimberly Porter-Hinchman of Mabie, W.Va.
Best man was Vincent Zapata of Moody. Groomsmen were Jason Rose and Chris Allen, both of Belton.
Flower girl was Kirrlyn Diaz. Ring bearer was Christian Javier Avila.
Seating guests were Dustin Morales and Art Zapata.
Candle lighters were Mariana Feliciana Casarez and Kina Montelongo.
A reception followed at R&J River Ranch.
After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple will reside outside of Moody.
The bride is a graduate of Florida State College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a nurse.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Belton High School. He is owner of Natural Stones & More.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by family and friends at R&J River Ranch.
