The man who was arrested by Temple Police after they saw him carrying a rifle is demanding more than $1.25 million from the city of Temple.

U.S. Army Master Sgt. Christopher Grisham reportedly gave a demand letter to Temple City Manager David Blackburn on Tuesday morning seeking $1,267,000, which includes $400,000 for compensation for Grisham’s alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment caused by Temple Police.
