The bungalow at 606 S. 13th St. in Temple could have spent the past 80 years reposing in a time capsule.

When renowned historian T. Lindsay Baker visited the 1932 crime scene - where Clyde Barrow gunned down Temple resident Doyle John­son in the act of stealing his Ford Model-A Roadster on Christmas Day - he found the house in "an amazing pristine state" in spite of its age, he said.
