BELTON — Services for Elizabeth “Libby” Jones, 92, of Belton will be 2 p.m. today at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Dr. Leroy Kemp officiating.
Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Wednesday, June 12, at a Temple nursing home.
She was born July 9, 1926, in the Armstrong community to Robert and Erna Splittgerber McGuyer. She graduated from Belton High School. She married Clyde S. Jones on Nov. 28, 1947, in Dallas. She worked for a telephone company and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Yellowbird Volunteers at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. She also was a member of the Farm Equipment Manufacturer’s Association and First Baptist Church in Belton.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald W. Jones of Morgan’s Point Resort and David Jones of Belton; a brother, Robert McGuyer of Belton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
