She was extremely strong in her Faith, praising and living everyday of her life in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. She exemplified the true definition of devotion to the Catholic Church by serving as a Missionary, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Alter Server, Religious Education Teacher and a Pianist in the Church Choir.

Throughout her childhood and into adulthood, Isabel possessed a strong desire to travel and experience the world. She was Blessed with having visited destinations near and abroad, including: Spain, Rome, Israel, Mexico, California, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Washington DC and Florida.

Isabel attended St Mary’s Catholic School in Temple, TX, for her Primary education. She then went on to graduate from Holy Trinity Catholic High School in 2011, and furthered her education by attending Temple College.

For much of her childhood, Isabel volunteered during the summer at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Temple, TX. Into her teenage years, she worked for the City of Temple Parks and Recreation as a Youth Recreational Leader. Isabel had a deep passion for working with children, allowing her the opportunity to positively impact each of them with her love and compassion. As an adult she continued pursuing her passion of impacting young minds and hearts, serving as a girls’ volleyball coach at Holy Trinity Catholic High School. At the time of her diagnosis, Isabel was employed by McLane Company, Inc.

In August of 2012, the Lord brought Ed Recio, the love of her life, into the path of Isabel’s life journey. After growing together in their Faith, they were married on April 2nd, 2016 and purchased their home in Belton, TX to begin putting down roots.
