BELTON — Services for Clyde Nolan Smith, 69, of Belton will be noon May 25 at the family home at 2813 Pecan Drive in Belton.

Mr. Smith died Wednesday, May 15, at a Temple hospital.

He was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Belton to Walter Nolan and Viola Burkett Smith. He attended Belton schools. He married Kathy Emrick on June 24, 2004, in Bell County. He was a painter for Petty Painting Co.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard Smith of Virginia, Clyde “JR” Smith Jr. of Belton and James Klinko of Harker Heights; two stepsons, Guy Gray of Indiana and Steve Gray of Ohio; a stepdaughter, Stacey Gray of Temple; three brothers, Dale Smith and Perry Smith, both of Gatesville, and Tom Smith of Belton; three sisters, Ellen Estill and Sheila Trotter, both of Gatesville, and Christine Kutzke of Kempner; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of arrangements.
