BELTON — Raymond Bell Fowler, 84, of Belton died Tuesday, June 11, at a Waco care facility.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Ritchie Hamm officiating.

Mr. Fowler was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Temple to Leonard and Hazel Ashcraft Fowler. He graduated from Rogers High School. He attended Temple Junior College. He married Belta Brown on Sept. 5, 1986, in Belton. He owned and operated several movie theaters. He was a member of Belton Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sebrina Terpening.

Survivors include his wife of Belton; two sons, Marshall Fowler of Belton and Clyde Ray Fowler of Abilene; a daughter, Paula Rodgers of Las Vegas; three brothers, Butch Fowler of Rogers, Jackie Fowler of Temple and Roy Fowler of Belton; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belton Church of Christ, 3003 North Main St., Belton, TX 76513.

Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
