BELTON — Lottie Virginia Oliver Holaday, 98, of Belton died Friday, May 17, at a Temple nursing home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
Burial will be in the Mary Allen Oliver Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Holaday was born May 12, 1921, in Three Forks to William Love and Lottie Virginia Birdwell Oliver. She graduated from Belton High School in 1938. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Mary Hardin-Baylor College in 1943. She married Adolph Martin Holaday Jr. on May 7, 1945. She was a chemist for Phillips Petroleum. She also was a teacher. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and First United Methodist Church in Borger.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Merry Lou Holaday Davis; and a grandchild.
Survivors include a son, Robert William Holaday of Littlefield; two daughters, Virginia Gay Holaday Oskouipour of Austin and Joy Marie Holaday Ryan of Colorado; a brother, Augustus Clayton Oliver; a sister, Eavia Marie Oliver Murphy; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
