Services for Billie J. Adams, 72, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Friday at 3C Cowboy Fellowship with the Rev. Bryan Miller officiating. 

Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams died Tuesday, June 11, at a Temple hospital.

She was born Aug. 24, 1946, in Corsicana to Lawrence and Opal Cagle Hoffman. She married Donnie Adams March 17, 1978. She graduated from Scott & White Nursing School. She worked as a registered nurse for Scott & White Memorial Hospital and for the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Medical Center in Temple. She also worked as a state inspector for Texas Human Services and taught nursing classes. She moved to Temple in 1992. 

Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael Adams of Georgetown; a daughter, Tammy Berg of Belton; two sisters, Linda Butler of Corsicana and Nancy Seevers of Little Elm; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bell County Sheriff’s Department Foundation or 3C Cowboy Fellowship.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
