COLLEGE STATION — The three teams representing Bell County struggled Friday at the State 7-on-7 tournament, but one still has a chance for a title.

Temple lost all three pool games, falling to Sharyland Pioneer 47-20, Lewisville Hebron 27-26 and Cy Woods 40-38. However, Pioneer and Hebron were both disqualified after their final game because of a postgame altercation, moving Temple to the Division 1 championship bracket. Temple will play College Station at 9 a.m. today.

Belton went 1-2, beating San Antonio Brandies, 40-33, to open play, then losing to Cy Fair and Arlington Lamar. Belton faces Richmond Foster at 8 a.m. today in the Division 1 consolation bracket.

Rogers, playing in Division 3, finished pool play with a 1-2 record Thursday, and ended the tournament Friday with a 33-20 loss to Wellington 33-20 in the first game of bracket play.
