It’s easy for Matthew Lawyer to pick out the low point of his golfing career, especially recently since it became the roots for the best of times that the Belton senior will experience over the next two days.

The pinnacle of Lawyer’s time at Belton, and perhaps his farewell to competitive play will be at the UIL Class 5A Boys State Golf Championships that will be held today and Tuesday at Onion Creek Golf Club in Austin. Lawyer begins his first round at 9:20 a.m. today.
