The search for a new Temple High head football coach took on an unexpected turn Wednesday when a former Wildcat assistant and a coach who has taken his teams to three state title games were named finalists but the third choice withdrew from consideration prior to selections being announced.Dr. Ron Huess, school district human resources director and chairman of the coach screening committee, said David Beal, a former Temple assistant and Spring Westfield head coach, and Denison coach Bob Brown were finalists to replace Bob McQueen as Temple High School
