Temple council hears drought contingencies

The Temple City Council heard a presentation regarding a proposed city drought contingency and water conservation plan during a special meeting Thursday.The council will consider the strategy at its Feb. 17 meeting, said Temple utilities superintendent Jerry Kean.The plan is required by state law for all cities with more than 5,000 residents, he said.The city has discussed the plan with Morgan
