Grayson run-rules TC twice
Published: March 5, 2000
After last week's split against Hill College, Temple Baseball coach Craig McMurtry told his team it would be a long season. McMurtry's statement meant that the Leopards would have plenty of time to recover from their 1-3 start in Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference competition. It might also have meant that TC would also have time to regroup from the kind of days like the one it experienced Saturday at the Danny Scott Athletic Complex. The Leopards were swept by Grayson, the No. 1 team in the nation, 14-3, 16-6, which dropped them to 1-5 in conference play and 10-8 overall. Grayson improved to 6-0 and 19-1. by Marcus Hood
