The Cameron Lady Yoe volleyball team had its opportunities Tuesday night, but just couldn't capitalize on them. In a heart-stopping, non-stop action bi-district playoff match, Waco Connally's Lady Cadets came back from a one-game deficit to defeat Yoe, 13-15, 15-10, 15-11 before a raucous crowd at Wildcat Gym. Connally (21-8) advances to face District 19-4A champion Robinson in the area round Thursday at a site and time to be determined. The Lady Yoe ended their season 29-12. "I couldn't have asked for a better effort from the girls tonight and all year," Cameron coach Linda Richter said. "They played their hearts out, the ball just didn't roll our way." by Robert Hollier
