TThe official lighting of the community Christmas tree tonight in downtown Temple will be a festive addition to the already decorated town center.The event, a Parks and Leisure Services Department project, will kickoff at 6 p.m. in front of the Temple Municipal Building.Those who attend will be able to enjoy hot cocoa, apple cider and sugar cookies as Mayor Keifer Marshall Jr., City Manager Mark Watson and Chamber of Commerce board chairman Steve Niemeier officially light the tree.
