The Temple Chamber of Commerce will present the annual Christmas parade along Central Avenue at 6:30 p.m. today in downtown Temple.This year's theme is "Songs of Christmas," and 120 entries are expected.Jim Thigpen, parade co-chairman, said the lighted parade is a valued tradition for Temple residents. He estimated that over 3,500 people participate directly in the parade, and over 10,000 come downtown to watch.The parade route is along Central Avenue from 11th Street to 6th Street. by Anna Foster
