Wet, cold, windy weather postponed several area sports events on Wednesday, and may affect others scheduled to begin today and Friday.Temple College's softball home doubleheader against Collin County Community College, and men's and women's tennis matches between TC and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor were affected.Leopards coach Larry Hennig said the teams will reschedule the softball twinbill possibly for early next week. The tennis matches might be rescheduled for later this spring if TC and UMHB can agree on a date.Today's weather could bring more postponements or outright cancellations. Belton's baseball and softball teams and Temple's softball team were scheduled to compete at Brenham High's twin tournaments beginning today. Coaches in Brenham were mulling canceling both tournaments because of wet fields.
