The Temple City Council Thursday unanimously approved, 4-0, an ordinance that will regulate the location, sharing ability and screening of new cell towers.Councilwoman Sally Myers was absent from the meeting.Planning Director B.A. Bailey said the popularity of cell phones had resulted in a proliferation of cell towers along Interstate 35.She said the ordinance works to provide people service for their phones while maintaining the appearance of the city.
