The Temple City Council and staff continue to work on figures for the 2001-2002 budget, but talks to take over operation of Hillcrest Cemetery have been put on hold. In a special meeting Thursday, the council directed the city manger to continue work on the budget figures without estimates for the operation of the cemetery, which has been under discussion for several weeks.
