City water problems persist; end in sight; leak delays opening main line until Sunday

There's an end in sight, encouraged Assistant City Manager Sam Listi, referring to the tight water supply in Temple. Listi is optimistic about there being an end, and city crews can see it coming, but it's still uncertain as to when. In spite of diligent efforts to repair the line, a leak was discovered in the newly repaired line late Saturday afternoon that necessitated delaying a predicted end to the water shortage in Temple. Crews had repaired the line and expected it to be functional by midnight Saturday. That was not realized when a leak was discovered Saturday afternoon. by Carolan Wishall
