Maybe Santa Claus can deliver his presents everywhere in the world in just one night, but the rest of us need to plan ahead a little farther than that. That is especially true for those planning to send packages or cards to military personnel overseas. Packages sent to the Washington, D.C., area might take a little longer than in years past as well. Walter Burtchell, a window clerk at the Temple post office, said Friday that his office expects a business-as-usual Christmas season with the exception of the D.C. area.
