Despite a 2-8 record, there is plenty to celebrate at the Temple Wildcats' annual football banquet tonight at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic and Convention Center. The banquet gets under way at 7 p.m., and a limited number of tickets are available at the door for $10. The banquet is sponsored by the Temple Quarterback Club. "It's true that our season didn't exactly play out like we hoped, but from the very first day, these kids gave tremendous effort and did everything with great attitudes," said second-year head coach David Beal, "like all Temple Wildcat teams do. Even though the scoreboard was not in our favor, our kids are tremendous winners, and we hope they will take their experiences
