The Temple City Council will consider an agreement that could mean a new movie theater and hire a new finance director at its 5 p.m. meeting today in the Municipal Building.City Manager Mark Watson said nothing was complete in actually getting a new theater, but with the city agreeing to take over the debt payments on construction loans if the proposed theater fails, that guarantee might succeed in securing financing for the project when previous deals have failed.
