Georgetown ups lead on Temple in 13-5A

The Temple girls soccer team struggled early in the season with giving up easy goals. That bad habit returned to bite them against Georgetown.Temple scored into its own net five minutes into the game, and Georgetown's Megan Hatcher scored two goals and Maggie Coone added another as the Lady Eagles beat the Tem-Cats 4-0 Friday at Woodson Field.By winning its seventh District 13-5A game without a loss, Georgetown (15-6 overall) took a two game lead over Temple (7-7-3, 5-2) for first place."Take nothing away from their Temple," Georgetown head coach Wes Strahan said. "Those kids played hard and they always play us hard.
