The Temple Transit Advisory Committee on Thursday reviewed routes and the implementation schedule for the city's fixed-route service, and recommended that the service include Saturday hours.Robert Ator, urban operations director for the Hop, said the implementation plan for the fixed-route service would be presented to the Temple City Council at its April 4 meeting, followed by two weeks of public comment period.A public hearing will be held on May 7, the transit advisory committee would give its final approval on May 9, and the City Council would make its final approval at its May 16 meeting.Ator said although the schedule was tight, it kept the system on track for a July 1 start date.The hours of service will be 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday except holidays, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays. by Anna Foster
