The Foresight Foundation, a local tax-exempt charity founded in 1986 by ophthalmologist Dr. Alan C. Jones and his wife, Ginger Jones, announced grant recipients for the 2002 fiscal year on Tuesday.Foresight was organized to benefit the citizens of Central Texas and to support sight-saving programs in developing countries.According to a foundation release, local donations for 2002 will be concentrated on schools of faith-based education since they contribute greatly to the cultural, educational and economic welfare of Central Texans.
