Mayborn Humanitarian Award has been extended to Monday, Oct. 7.So, if you know someone who should be considered there is still time to prepare an entry.The Temple Daily Telegram and Killeen Daily Herald sponsor the award in order to to honor a Central Texan who has made a difference for our area through his or her good works and good actions.The award, established in 1991, recognizes and honors someone who goes beyond the routine in his or her daily life and produces a legacy of good works which benefit all of us.The 2002 recipient of the Frank W. Mayborn Humanitarian Award will be someone who has done something recently or someone who has a lifetime of continuous humanitarian and/or civic involvement and achievement.
