It's so far, so good for the Central Texas Blackhawks. Through three contests on a five-game road swing, Central Texas is undefeated with two victories over the Great Falls (Mont.) Americans and one over the Helena (Mont.) Bighorns in America West Hockey League interdivisional play this weekend."It's really exciting and the kids are working hard to make it happen," Blackhawks coach Rikard Gronborg said. "Hopefully, we can keep this going through the next couple of games."Central Texas, which has won seven consecutive contests to improve to 10-3-1 (21 points), plays at Helena on Thursday and Friday at 8:05 p.m. to complete the Montana voyage. The Blackhawks still trail Wichita Falls by several points in the AWHL's South Division, partly because the Rustlers have played several more games.On Saturday, Central Texas knocked off Great Falls 3-2 in a game that featured three lengthy delays. A piece of glass popped loose from the boards, the scoreboard malfunctioned and the referee was cut on his face during the first period.
