Fedora leaves Rogers for Robinson

Lee Fedora, who led Rogers to four playoff appearances in the past five seasons, was approved as head football coach and athletic director at Class 3A Robinson on Wednesday. Fedora, 32, succeeds Kris Strain, who stepped down earlier the month after eight years as head coach and 22 overall at the school. Strain requested his reassignment after leading the Rockets to a 56-32 mark during his tenure. The Rockets won their first five games last season before losing four of their last five to finish out of the playoffs. Since the beginning of the coaching search, Robinson schools superintendent Jim Smith said Fedora was tops on his district
