The process of calling an election that would create the Temple Health and Bioscience Economic Development District began Thursday. A petition drive application signed by 10 Temple residents was submitted to the city secretary Thursday morning and it was approved, said Wendell Williams, Health and Bioscience Task Force chairman for the Temple Economic Development Corporation.
