Dark clouds and sporadic showers visited the area Sunday afternoon, leaving 0.31 of an inch of rain by 5 p.m. at Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport.

Several traffic accidents were reported on Interstate 35, including one in Belton and several near Troy. A vehicle was reported to have struck a telephone pole beside State Highway 53 east of Zabcikville. The Department of Public Safety had no fatal traffic reports in Bell County.
