Teachers and principles from around the Temple school district met Saturday morning at the Freeman Heights Resource Center on S. 27th Street for an all day, English as a Second Language, training session. The training and testing will enable the participants to become certified as ESL teachers. With more than 60 educators in attendance, the school district will easily surpass its goal of having one ESL certified teacher on every campus in the district.
