CTCS takes TAPPS basketball playoff

Laura Harris tallied 24 points as Central Texas Christian School knocked off Waxahachie Cornerstone 86-54 in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) bi-district playoffs Friday night. CTCS (11-5) will now face Burleson Stepping Stone Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Waxahachie Cornerstone finished the season 7-14. Porscha Weddington supplied 20 points and Joy Pershall added 14 for the Lady Lions. From Daily Telegram Staff Reports
