112 people cast votes Wednesday at the administration building, 6 people voted at Southwest Elementary, 56 votes were cast at Lakewood Elementary, and 39 ballots were cast at Belton High School.
“We’re very pleased with the turnout today,” said Dr. Vivian Baker, superintendent of the Belton school district.
“I would simply think that would be good because the higher the voter turn out, the greater the chance of success,” said Danny Dossman, co-chairman of the PAC Belton Schools Moving Forward, “You get a more representative vote.”
