Area lake and river levels are fluctuating

Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir and Lake Belton did not rise anywhere near flood levels in June, despite heavy rains in Temple and Central Texas.

In the spring of 1992, spillways at both lakes overflowed, causing more than $7 million in damage to lake parks.
