A 1-0, double-overtime loss to Odessa on Saturday night landed the Temple boys soccer team second place in its Temple Wildcat Kick Off Showcase.

After beating Austin Westlake 2-1 on Saturday morning, the Wildcats fought the Bronchos to the bitter end at Woodson Field. Neither team had many looks at the goal nearing the end of the second overtime, but Odessa was able to slip one in with three minutes left.
