A $1.5 million fund-raising drive for Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple, headed by Ted Floca, will be launched this year, as part of an overall effort to preserve records and graves at the historic cemetery.

Part of the money would pay for a new 1,400-square-foot resource building, with a community meeting room and administrative offices, at North 1st Street and Shell Avenue.
