Police arrested Chad Phillip Blevins, 17, of Temple Monday morning in connection with the death of Amanda Cleveland, 14, a Lamar Middle School student whose body was found in a burning trash dumpster early Sunday.
Blevins was arrested after being interviewed by detectives, according to Lt. Richard Ashe, Temple Police Department spokesman.
Ashe said Blevins, who lives at 217 W. Victory Ave., has been charged with murder.
