As the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina on the Gulf Coast continues to wreak havoc on New Orleans, Scott and White Memorial Hospital is aiding relief efforts with use of a StatAir helicopter.

Staff at Scott and White Memorial Hospital were contacted by Tulane University Medical Center officials for help in evacuating more than 2,600 immediate-need medical patients from a facility in New Orleans and the Super Dome.
