Cities all over the country experienced closings and slowdowns Monday, as hundreds of thousands of Hispanic workers nationwide refused to work to demonstrate their importance to the U.S. economy. Temple was no exception.

Scattered pockets of protests could be seen around Temple on Monday, but the overall impact appeared to be rather minimal compared to other cities.
