ROGERS - With a brilliant pitching staff that boasts a 1.94 ERA, fifth-ranked Rogers is known in most circles as a pitching power.

But to the Class 2A state tournament-bound Eagles, their bats - which they swing to the tune of a .376 average - are as equally productive as the aforementioned right arms.

Just ask ace pitcher Taylor Jungmann.
