The subdivision has met with opposition from residents of Springwood Creek Estates, whose objections included the potential increased traffic and access to FM 93 and the smaller lot and home sizes associated with the proposed subdivision located on the north side of West FM 93 east of Springwood Creek Estates.
A previous zoning request was approved by the commission and passed to the Temple City Council, only to have the council remand it to planning and zoning during the council
