KILLEEN - Authorities responding to a fire at Killeen pawn shop Friday found the body of a 26-year-old woman in the rear of the burning building.

Kathy Parker of Killeen, manager of Speedy Pawn Shop No. 1, located at 718 W. Rancier, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:05 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Garland K. Potvin of Killeen.

Potvin ordered her remains sent to the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas for autopsy.
