Open Season: Troy, other area teams excited to finally hit the field

Senior quarterback Brian Scott of Class 3A No. 5-ranked Cameron Yoe leads the Yoemen into their season opener against 4A Austin LBJ tonight at Yoe Field. Scott accounted for more than 3,000 yards total offense last season for 13-1 Yoe. LBJ's Jaguars are coached by former Bartlett star Claude Mathis, who helped the Bulldogs with two Class A state titles in the early 1990s. (File Photo)
